Rozalynn's Story
Life
I left Maryland after graduation. I went to college and graduated in Psychology. I was married to Bill Clyde from Potomac class of 70 and we had 6 children. I have worked in Real Estate, Developement, design and construction over the past 25 years. I have owned several businesses and loved the opportunity to be creative and work for my self. We lived in Merced and San Benito counties of California most of our marriage. He passed away from cancer over 5 years ago. He had been ill for 4 years. We were married for 29 years. I then moved to Nampa,Idaho outside of Boise. Most of my children were living there at the time, either married or going to Boise State.
I have sense then married a wonderful man from Houston Texas. We have lived in Texas, Saudi Arabia, Canada, California again in Houston, (Pearland Texas), Singapore, Kuwait and planning to be in France in a few weeks. We have just returned to Texas from Washington State. We had a great opportunity to live in Blaine for the past siz months. It is just a few miles from the Canadian...Expand for more
Border. It is nice to go and visit, buy I am so glad to be an American. Being back in Houston has been nice to get back to a nomal life. I will be glad to be all unpacked some day. It has been a wonderful ride. Interesting how life has so many changes and opportunities when we open the doors and look out side the box. It is great to be alive.
I have enjoyed the opportunity of the travel and seeing new things and meeting people from all asspects of life. My children have been very suportive and adore me and my husband. We have 16 darling grandchildren and one on the way. The fact that our grand children only know Vern as their grandfather make it an easier transition for him as a new grandfather, and has made our family really united as it should be.
We have kept our home in Idaho and plan to retire there some day.We get to go there every 3 months. I have one of my sons living there and going to Boise State.
I am so grateful to find that there is love over 50. It is even better to have someone love you after 50.
Have a great day.
Roz.
